To be invited to the opening of The House of Dior – 70 Years of Haute Couture, which features over 140 couture garments from the seven Dior designers, is a pretty big deal. Others who purchased tickets were just, as excited as fashionistas rubbed shoulders and drank Moet. Working with the event company on this we knew the music had to be polished, yet have a tastemakers edge.
The entire Nation Gallery was full of life in every room, guests in their own couture mingling amongst the art, with flare and impeccable taste that is rarely seen in Australia. It was imperative to supply a DJ with music to match the grace and high standards of the night, we had to do Dior justice in celebrating 70 years of craftsmanship.
